Karen Howard
Karen Howard has been a family law paralegal in Houston, Texas since 1983. She started working with Harry Tindall at Tindall & Foster, P.C. in 1987, and continues on in that role with Tindall & England, P.C. Since 1997, she is a Board Certified Paralegal in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She is also an active member of the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists; the State Bar of Texas, Legal Assistant Division; and the State Bar of Texas, Family Law Section.
With over 20 plus years experience as a family law paralegal, Karen assists the attorneys of Tindall & England in all aspects of family law, including divorce proceedings, collaborative law divorces, the drafting and negotiation of premarital and marital property agreements, complex property cases involving characterization, valuation and division, the modification of child support, visitation, and conservatorship, adoption and the enforcement of court orders. Karen regularly attends continuing legal education programs and has both presented and authored papers for family law and collaborative law seminars. She has received advanced training in the collaborative law process.
A native Houstonian, Karen attended Sam Houston State University and obtained a Paralegal Associates Degree from Houston Community College in 1984. When not working, she is often on Lake Conroe with her husband and two teenage sons.
