Jennie Smith

A native Houstonian, Jennie Smith began clerking for Tindall & England, P.C. in October 2008, and became an associate with the firm upon passing the bar in November 2009. Prior to joining the firm, Jennie clerked for Judge Judy Warne and Associate Judge David D. Farr in the 257th Family District Court, as well as for Myres, Dale & Associates. Additionally, she is a certified mediator and has done a number of mediations through The Frank Evans Center for Conflict Resolution.

Jennie has specialized training and knowledge of the family dynamic. She earned a masters of science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of North Texas and directed an early development school for four years. During her time as an educator, she also taught college courses in childhood development. She is a member of the Burta Rhoades Raborn Family Law Inns of Court, which is a professional society of family attorneys, and she recently co-authored "Our Texas Statute and the New Uniform Collaborative Law Act," which Harry L. Tindall presented at the State Bar of Texas Collaborative Law Course 2009.

Jennie received her undergraduate degree in English from Baylor University where she was President of Baylor Ambassadors, a member of Eta Sigma Phi National Honor Classics Fraternity, and Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority.
